Dr. Etcheverry
Dr. Etcheverry is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is dedicated to furthering his education in order to continue providing the highest standard of care. He received his degree from the Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his post-graduate at Miami Children's Hospital. He received recognition for providing primary care in the Grand Valley for 20 years at Community Hospital and 25 years at St. Mary's Hospital. Dr. Etcheverry is the founder of Dino-Peds established in 1992.

Dr. Mercer
Dr. Tara Mercer completed her medical degree at Louisiana State University, Shreveport in 1997. She is passionate about providing excellent care for babies, children, and teens. Dr. Tara was a practicing Registered Nurse for several years prior to attending medical school, and has worked in health care since 1985. As a mother of 4, and grandmother of 3, she feels that pediatric care encompasses more than just addressing a physical illness. Dr. Tara believes that
the whole child matters. She moved to the Grand Valley in 2019, and is excited to be a part of Dino-Peds.
Rachel FNP-BC
Rachel FNP-BC
Rachel FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner graduating from Walsh University in Canton, Ohio. She grew up in a small town in Ohio and gained her passion for medicine at the young age of sixteen by receiving her Nursing Assistant Certificate. She started as a nursing assistant at a local hospital in the float pool and then began her career as a nurse in 2016. She has worked in adult and pediatric emergency medicine for seven years, working in varying levels of trauma centers. She also was afforded the opportunity to work abroad in Tanzania, Africa, where she focused her practice in orphanages, rural clinics, and childhood immunizations. She moved to the Grand Valley in 2022, due to her love of the outdoors, and the opportunity to do the things that she loves such as hiking, snowboarding, and paddleboarding. She is excited for her career transition and caring for children and their families at Dino-Peds!
